Liverpool will extend the contracts of James Milner and Joel Matip following the Champions League Final.

The 33-year-old Milner will be extended through the 2021 season.

The 27-year-old Matip will receive a new contract after solidifying his place next to Virgil van Dijk in the center of Liverpool's defense. 

Bruce Arena was officially unveiled as the sporting director and head coach of the New England Revolution.

“Bruce is one of the most successful coaches in American soccer history, and we feel his commitment to excellence, track record of winning championships in Major League Soccer, as well as his success at the international level, makes him the best person to bring the Revolution back to MLS Cup contention," said Robert Kraft.

Arena becomes the most winningest active manager in MLS upon his return. He has also won 5 MLS Cups. 

Edu has agreed to a deal to become the next technical director at Arsenal.

Arsenal had originally targeted Monchi for the role before the Spaniard returned to Sevilla.

Edu, who are an Arsenal midfielder from 2001-2005, is currently the coordinator for the Brazil national team.
